Whats Cooking? The Tigers eat for victory

Liverpool's pro basketball team the Everton Tigers enjoyed a morale-boosting meal courtesy of What's Cooking? restaurant at the Albert Dock, while they discussed winning tactics ahead of their first ever BBL Cup Final. Everton In The Community founded the team last year and they have overcome all odds and contenders on the road to glory and the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham tomorrow. The Blues basketball heroes have been pulling in regular 1000-strong crowds at their Greenbank Academy home games on Friday nights and are confident of bringing home the city's first piece of silverware. They are currently top of the league in only their second year in the BBL and many critics expect them to fold under the pressure, but the Tigers have been stalking other teams like easy prey and star forward Andre Smith believes they will 'wipe the floor' with the Plymouth Raiders. After a fierce training session, the Tigers replenished their carbohydrate levels with a feast of nachos, peri-peri chicken, prime steaks, gourmet burgers, milkshakes and fruit smoothies at the flagship What's Cooking? restaurant before signing autographs and declaring their confidence for a thrilling win to Liverpool's media. What's Cooking? director Guy Lawrenson has promised a free gourmet burger to all Tigers fans once they win, so come on Liverpool... cheer on your Tigers and get into the game!
